In the summer of 2025, I was a member of the Student Academy in Public Health. Every week, a group of students from the local area came together to discuss public health.

 

The program involved learning about and analyzing key public health topics, and proposing local public health interventions. We shadowed different local public health services and participated in field experiences, as well as community outreach and education events. We also completed introductory modules on the basics of public health.
