I am currently a senior at Leonardtown High School. I was born in Washington DC, but moved to St. Mary’s County when I was three years old. Growing up in rural southern Maryland has given me a unique personal perspective on public health, rural medicine, and policy. 

 

I’ve been deeply involved in Student Government, serving as the Regional President of the St. Mary’s Association of Student Council representing 16,000 students. I also organized a performing arts showcase, Rhythm 2024, to advocate and raise funds for blood cancer research and patient support. 

 

I am dedicated to a career in medicine to give back to the community that raised and supported me and bridge the healthcare gaps I’ve witnessed firsthand.
